I know this is an old video, but what light setup are you using or have most likely upgraded to now?

I thought I was getting a tree but ended up with seeds even though I searched for trees! Make sure to read the fine print!!! 5 seeds for $25 seems wicked expensive and another reason I thought it was plant! I have blood orange and varigated lemon from tractor supply that cost less and are doing great! What I wonder should I return? whay is germination rate like did you clip coat? paper towel method? I can still retirn them but if I can get 3/5 to go will keep em n start in grow tent.

How did you accomplish fruiting so quickly? I thought it takes 8-10 years for Kumquats grown from seed to produce fruit.

Could be an example of an Elm weakening over time due to not getting a dormant (rest) period. It's hard to tell though for sure, but it was doing great prior to this. I just got one recently going into winter and I was debating keeping it in for the first winter or letting it go dormant outdoors in a cold frame. Great video!

I just got my first ginsing ficus a few weeks ago and potted it into a deeper pot to get a better root base. I hope mine turned out half as amazing as yours. How long did it take to get the new root base on yours.

I'm impressed that your tree lived through all that was done to it. My question is why did you do all that to it? From the beginning to the end of your video, I can't see that the tree has made any progress. All the tree's energy has been spent on simply trying to recover and survive. You still have basically the same little tree that you started with. I mean no offense. I'm just trying to understand the point of doing what you did.

This is the best kumquat seedling video I can find online since I grow them on my own for months but can't find anything in Chinese except germinating the seeds! This video really gave me the confidence to continue my kumquat planting indoor, and after 6 months, 5 seedlings are healthy living on my east facing balcony in Beijing. I use light weighted and ventilation friendly mixed soil with great drainage, because Monty said citrus hates sitting in water and Reddit said the kumquat seedlings' roots were weak. First months I moved them in terracotta pots, they stopped growing (in summer), I used LED plant lights to help them but still, they freeze. Then I figured it was the soil, I made it too ventilation friendly so the roots were not able to contact the soil properly. So I watered them more since the drainage was perfect and adding fertilizer according to how the leaves presented. In autumn, they suddenly speed up their growth, usually at least 2 new leaves once. Then I came back to this video again to learn how and when to prune the plant. Thank you, I think I will come back many times in the future.
